The main aim of this competition is to visualise science concepts. Understanding science concepts is important as it can be easily linked to our daily activities and requirements, thus highlighting the importance of science in daily life. The students may choose any concept in any branch of science and express as a drawing or a painting. Some examples of concepts are: Evolution, Newton’s laws, gravity, chemical equilibrium, circles, etc.

School students from Standard 7 to 12 can participate in this competition.

Each entry should be accompanied by the following details:

Name of the student
Name of the school
Complete school address (with city, state and PIN code)

Judging criteria:

Creativity and originality
Scientific Concept used
Artistic Ability
Visual impact of the image
Overall impression

KVRSS reserves the right to use any of the submitted paintings for display in its office or any other platform as they see fit. Due credit will be given to the school and student for the painting used for any such activity.

The decision of KVRSS Team is final and binding on all.

The top three selected paintings will receive a cash prize of Rs. 3000/, Rs.2000/ and Rs.1000/ and a certificate as Winner, Runner-up I and Runner-up II, respectively.
